Professional Experience

As a three-time ADDY (American Advertising) Award winning, multi-disciplinary graphic designer specializing in visual branding including logo design and coordinated elements.  I earned my Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design from Westwood College of Technology, with concentrations in Graphic Design, Multimedia, and Website Design.  I graduated with a perfect GPA, and was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society.    

Prior to my career, I worked for three years in customer service at a printing firm where I was able to learn the inner workings of professional print processes and how graphic design translates into it.  This, I believe, gives me a tremendous edge and value as a graphic designer for my clients.   In 2005, I began my independent venture.  In 2014, I founded High Realm Graphics, LLC.  

The Artist in Me

My design interest began early in elementary school where I discovered my unique ability to embody an idea in tangible form while giving impeccable attention to detail.  I received a handful of art scholarships upon graduation of high school and went down in history as my graduating class's "Most Artistic" student.  I revel in being one of the world's most zealous over-thinkers, as I often sees creative possibilities that many others do not. While my ideas are not always easy to explain, the evidence post-creation is irrefutable.  I apply my creative thought in almost everything I do, including home-making, music making, and how I hang my coats.  I love working as an independent business person and am greatly blessed with the ability to work from home while providing for and homeschooling my three sons. 

Why I Choose Solopreneurship

I chose to be a solopreneur because I always dreamed of having my own business yet being able to stay at home to raise my children.  Being an independent graphic designer gives me both of these while allowing me to use one of my greater talents: Creativity.

Of Other Interest

You may be interested to know that I have a strong alter ego which is my inner "rock star."  I enjoy being on the stage for musical performance and spent many years of my life writing music, playing guitar, and singing with national artists including "Foreigner" and Christian artists "Among the Thirsty," and "Manafest."  Back in my prime, my fans called me the "Ann Wilson" (of the 80's band "Heart") of their day. I performed many songs by them both with a full band and acoustically and also covered popular rock icons including Pat Benatar, Melissa Etheridge, and Steve Perry (Journey). Currently I volunteer my musical gifts in the Christian contemporary church.
